Quick to respond, but did nothing to solve my problem and tried to sell me a new garage door opener when all I needed was $5 worth of bolts. Technician walked into my garage looked at the unit and declared that I probably needed a new motor, which made no sense. After allowing the technician time to evaluate the situation he called me back to the garage and confirmed that I needed a new motor and started to try and sell me. I questioned why he wasn't repairing the bracket or chain (which looked to be the problem). He fed me a line that the system was old and that my type of rails were out of production and could not be replaced. I took a closer look and found a sheared bold under the unit and then compared the "broken" unit to the one on the other door. I advised the technician I was not ready to buy a new unit and paid the service fee. I went to Ace Hardware, picked up some new bolts to see if they resolved the problem, which they did. Do not recommend.

It allowed me to get an estimate without any risk on my end. Cody took the time to explain the different options on replacing the springs on my 3 garage doors. My garage door springs were 24 years old, so I think I got the expected life plus some out of them. I felt like I could make an informed decision. Cody was very professional during the installation and completed the job in a timely way. I'm happy I decided to use Precision Garage Door and look forward to trouble-free performance by my repaired garage doors.

Nothing but great things to say about Precision. Joey was amazing! It was hard to get a call back much less service on a weekend, but Precision answered immediately and had Joey en route within the hour. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I had many questions. Unfortunately, due to timing and budget we went another route, but I will, without a doubt call Precision for another quote when we decide to install a new door.

I contacted Precision to help repair my garage door yesterday (10/27/25). I appreciate the tech coming out, but, unfortunately, expectations were not met as advertised by Precision, and the problem was not solved. The tech looked at the garage door but did not really attempt to fix anything, but rather made it seem like was impossible or too costly. Nice guy, though, but he didn't even check his toolbox to see if he could fix it, and he told me he didn't have the parts to fix it the same day, which is ironic since the Precision commercials made me think I chose the right company. However, he did try to upsell me on buying a new garage door and made it seem like my garage door couldn't be repaired, in addition to the repair being unreasonably expensive ($1,300) compared to the damage. It felt less like trying to fix my garage and more like replacing it with a new door, even though that wasn't necessary. Why so much for the repair? Because of this, I can't trust Precision and wouldn't recommend them to anyone needing garage door repairs. In the end, I paid $95 just for a Precision technician to come out, tell me how expensive the repair would be or to buy a new door, and make a half-hearted attempt at fixing the door. On top of that, he said there would be no warranty. This was very disappointing because I was excited to have Precision help with my garage door. I do not have a personal grudge, but just giving honest feedback/review. However, I contacted another well-known and reputable garage company the same day after the Precision tech left my house (AE Door & Window), and guess what? The technician from AE had all the equipment needed on his truck and repaired the door at a fraction of the cost estimated by the Precision tech. I also have a 60-day warranty on the repair, and this technician didn't try to upsell me on a new garage door.

I did my research on garage for companies before scheduling Precision Garage Doors. I was not disappointed, and this company exceeded my expectations! I called for an appointment and they were able to come immediately. Joey Albers was my technician. He was very good, knew the industry very well, knew their products, and provided multiple solutions. There was no pressure to purchase anything, because their prices were so reasonable, I purchased that day. Even more surprising was when Joey sits he could install the new opener and components that day. He was done in 40 minutes and it's perfect. Christmas came early for me! Thank you, John, Joey, and Precision Garage Doors!

Great job done by Tyler to replace our 'Safety Eyes' (the sensor cameras) which were really old and incompatible with our recent garage door opener change. Very well explained, extremely quick turnaround time with installation and went beyond (replaced new cables from opener to sensor; lubricated door for squeaky noise though was not asked for). Cost was also affordable and well explained w.r.t the breakdown! Highly recommended for garage door service!
