My garage door would not open. I had appointments scheduled throughout the day and my car was stuck inside the garage. I called Precision Garage Door and a technician arrived within 3 hours. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and my garage door was repaired within 5 hours of my phone call to Precision Garage Door. The technician was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable with resolving my problem. This was a good experience and I was able to meet nearly all of my appointments.

Garage door would not open or close from the remotes, including the wired wall remote. I could operate the door from the opener using the up/down buttons. Technician trouble shooted the opener and removed and replaced the doorbell wires and it worked like new. We still are not sure what the problem was but it works now. Very interesting problem that was solved.

My garage door spring broke unexpectedly, and they came out quickly to fix it. The technician Will was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. I was a little surprised by the price because it was higher than I expected, but the fast response, quality of the repair and the warranty made it worth it. The only downside was that I wasn't given any paperwork or emailed a receipt or invoice after the job was completed. Other than that, the service was great, and my garage door is working perfectly again.

Precision Door had previously installed our garage door. The spring had broken, I called before noon, John arrived at 2:00 after calling me and confirming the time. Because we had purchased the warranty package back in 2015, I was only charged for the service call and labor. Great job! I am a repeat customer purhased a garage door last year. I called today to get an estimate on some weather striping around my other garage door. I was made aware that there would be a $95 charge if I didn't want any work done. I understand it costs money to send someone out. I was disappointed the the charge was more than twice what I was expecting and I had to pay to find that out. I think $95 is a bit steep to get an estimate.With this in mind, I will not be calling your business with any more repair or replacement needs. Sincerely Sandy Goodwin

Precision Door installed my new garage door in March 2025. I've been very happy with it & the service they provided. All very professional. A few weeks ago, I noticed the exterior touch pad that operates the garage door stopped working. I started using the touch pad inside the garage, although it was less convenient. A couple of days ago, I tried to fix the pad. Upon examination, I couldn't if tell it was a wired or wireless system. I noticed a slot in the touch pad that seemed to be an access point. However, when I used a screwdriver to pry it open, nothing happened. I was afraid to force it for fear I'd wreck the pad & perhaps any electronics inside. I called Precision Door & explained the problem. When I asked a specific question about the pad, the woman on the phone said Precision does not provide any consultation over the phone. I would have to book a service call. The cost: $95.00. I complied. Bottom line: The tech, who, BTW, was very polite, said he needed to open the pad. I provided a screwdriver. He also had a hard time trying open the pad but succeeded. Inside was a hollow area that housed a 9-volt battery. I replaced the battery with a new one & -voila! - the pad came to life & the garage door worked fine. It took the tech all of five minutes to correct the problem. I wrote a check for $95.00. End of story. Here's my gripe, aside from feeling stupid & embarrassed. When the garage door was installed, the Precision Door installer did not explain the workings of the touch pad or the need to replace a 9-volt battery after a year or so. I understand Precision Door's policy not to provide a free maintenance or repair analysis over the phone. But I think it's reasonable for someone there to have told me my problem may simply be a battery issue if I had the chance to explain. I'm upset with myself for not forcing open the touch pad & finding a replaceable battery inside, but I didn't know what I was dealing with. No one at Precision Door informed me at the time of installation or when I called. I think $95.00 is too steep a price to pay under the circumstances.

The spring on our garage door broke, and after having Cody and Q look at all the other hardware, it was apparent that it was time to replace some parts. We decided to do a complete overhaul and get rid of what might’ve been some of the original hardware on the door, and Cody and Q did a great job explaining and showing us everything.
