I had precision garage doors replace my garage door 6 years ago, did a excellent job, had a motion sensor that wasn't working, couldn't get the remotes to work, had them come out, the technician did a excellent job, and explained everything to me.

Joey did a great job explaining what the problem was and what needed to be fixed. He also convinced me to go with the more expensive solution. I am very happy with his attitude, quality of work and speed. You could improve your quality of customer experience by asking the customer if they have the emergency key lock installed on their door and that if so, the tech can raise the door and gain entry to service it. I knocked out a garage window and gave the dimensions to make sure a tech could fit through it. Joey saw that I had installed the emergency lock, had pulled it, and all he had to do was pull it up manually. I have to spend $250 on a new window un necessarily. That I’m not happy about. No reflection on Joey, pbut your customer service call questions should include this.

The response time was exceptional. I was able to make an appointment last night for 10am this morning. I received a text around 9:38 that told me Joey was on his way and he liked football, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. A nice personal touch. Sure enough Joey arrived at 2 minutes before 10 and was completely professional. He explained all the different options, from the bare minimum to full replacement and explained the advantages and disadvantages to each one, which helped me decide the best option. Yes parts are expensive, just like everything else has skyrocketed in the past 5 years. Financing was available. He thanked me twice for the bottle of water I offered, and even asked if I minded if he wore his headphones while working. He was finished in about an hour, and reviewed everything he installed and activated the warranty. I am very pleased with the service and professionalism. I have looked at other reviews and he's right, the only complaint I could find was about cost of parts. Nice Job!

We had a spring break so we called and told the spring installed would be $259. As soon a the technician was here he tried to sell us everything under the sun. When we didn't buy anything else he told us the spring would be $389 with no warranty because we didn't buy any other parts. When I said the price wasn't what we were told be said that's because the call center doesn't know the price. Here's a thought.... then the call center shouldn't give out pricing! He offered a one year warranty on the spring. After he left and sent us the warranty info, the warranty was for labor only!!!

I am only adding a 3 star because the cost was so ridiculous. I paid 1800 dollars for the list listed below. The guy who came to fix the door was very good and professional and did the work within an hour. They knew I needed the door fixed so fell like they up charged everything. Joey Albers replaced all of the hardware (rollers, tension cable drums, spring rod and springs) in an hour on a twenty year old very tired door.
