I have been hurt and disappointed by all other garage door repair companies that have told me No, we do not touch DIY installed garage doors. I called Precision Doors and they told me Josh would be over in 2 hours to replace the worn out parts on a garage door installed 30 years ago DIY by myself. Josh inspected the door and showed us parts they have, original and Precision Door parts which are stronger and built to last a long time which is what we chose. Josh worked efficiently to remove the old and worn out parts and replace them with new ones in upper 90 heat index weather.. How does the repaired garage door work : quiet and smooth as butter. We were unable to open our garage door due a broken spring and necessitated service. Although service could not be rendered the next day as it was a weekend, our technician Josh arrived early Monday morning and performed an excellent job. He described the problem in detail and offered various solutions to the problem. Josh answered all of our questions and was extremely professional and courteous. Precision Door had previously installed our garage door. The spring had broken, I called before noon, John arrived at 2:00 after calling me and confirming the time. Because we had purchased the warranty package back in 2015, I was only charged for the service call and labor. Great job! Appreciated the prompt, individualized service and no talking to a call center, out of state operators, etc. Thanks!

Very friendly and helpful all around! Called in the morning and had a whole new garage door, spring, and opener installed by 2pm. Josh explained everything about my garage door situation prior to showing me quotes. Garrett, Clayton, Chris, & Cody were very quick to dismantle the old door/opener/track/spring and install the new one. They took the time to make sure I knew how to care for my new door. Technician was on time and polite. Replacement of 2 springs was way too expensive. They were already there, so we went ahead with the repair instead of just paying the "diagnostic fee". Also, the 3% fee for using a credit card seems outdated. It seems like the credit card fees are already built into your pricing. The repair was completed professionally and works great. I will get other estimates next time before calling them.
