I contacted Precision to help repair my garage door yesterday (10/27/25). I appreciate the tech coming out, but, unfortunately, expectations were not met as advertised by Precision, and the problem was not solved. The tech looked at the garage door but did not really attempt to fix anything, but rather made it seem like was impossible or too costly. Nice guy, though, but he didn't even check his toolbox to see if he could fix it, and he told me he didn't have the parts to fix it the same day, which is ironic since the Precision commercials made me think I chose the right company. However, he did try to upsell me on buying a new garage door and made it seem like my garage door couldn't be repaired, in addition to the repair being unreasonably expensive ($1,300) compared to the damage. It felt less like trying to fix my garage and more like replacing it with a new door, even though that wasn't necessary. Why so much for the repair? Because of this, I can't trust Precision and wouldn't recommend them to anyone needing garage door repairs. In the end, I paid $95 just for a Precision technician to come out, tell me how expensive the repair would be or to buy a new door, and make a half-hearted attempt at fixing the door. On top of that, he said there would be no warranty. This was very disappointing because I was excited to have Precision help with my garage door. I do not have a personal grudge, but just giving honest feedback/review. However, I contacted another well-known and reputable garage company the same day after the Precision tech left my house (AE Door & Window), and guess what? The technician from AE had all the equipment needed on his truck and repaired the door at a fraction of the cost estimated by the Precision tech. I also have a 60-day warranty on the repair, and this technician didn't try to upsell me on a new garage door.

I did my research on garage for companies before scheduling Precision Garage Doors. I was not disappointed, and this company exceeded my expectations! I called for an appointment and they were able to come immediately. Joey Albers was my technician. He was very good, knew the industry very well, knew their products, and provided multiple solutions. There was no pressure to purchase anything, because their prices were so reasonable, I purchased that day. Even more surprising was when Joey sits he could install the new opener and components that day. He was done in 40 minutes and it's perfect. Christmas came early for me! Precision Door was at the house within 2 hours of my call that the door would not open. Joey Albers replaced all of the hardware (rollers, tension cable drums, spring rod and springs) in an hour on a twenty year old very tired door. Joey is a fantastic technician, teaches and helps you understand the issues and is a great representative of Precision Door.

I found Precision Garage Door on the local business page on line. My decision came down to locally owned. Joey arrived at the time they told me. He was very professional and talked me through all of my options in layman terms never talking over my head. There was no pressure for any of the services. We have used Precision Door Service in the past (Purchased our Overhead door opener from them) and was aware they worked weekends. I called early Sat morning and was told Joey could be out to repair our door (broken spring) between 2-6 pm. He called at 11:50 am and said he could arrive earlier if it was convenient for us. He arrived approx 12:30. He was very professional and knowledgeable about garage doors. He explained all our options with no pressure to purchase and provided us with an estimate for our selected choices. He completed the repairs within the hour. We were very impressed with his EXCELLENT service. If you need your garage door repaired give Precision Door a call. You won't be disappointed!

I had Precision in Omaha. When I moved here I called and Jared came out to help me. We replaced everything we could in the garage door. The place was new construction and of course they put in cheap equipment. When I moved to my now location and needed work, I called and got Joey. He is a great guy and just as capable as Jared. By the way, he is coming back next Tuesday to replace the springs, etc.

Joey responded eariler than scheduled. Saw the lack of spring performance. We had never had the springs ckecked in ? 15yrs. Was very through in offering advice and ways to help in operation of the door. Pricing seem very fair. Old springs appeared to have less capacity for the size of our door.

My garage door spring broke on a Friday night as I was closing it for the night. In the morning I searched for companies that offered Saturday service. I found Precision offered quick service As well as weekend service. Precision was able to come out that same day. Joey was very professional gave me a number of options for my 20 year old door, never high pressure. I ended up having the spring, bearings, and cables replaced. Joey offered additional advice other maintenance items, but also indicated I could do them myself if I wished. Joey even gave me pointers on the DIY items I chose. Very professional, would recommend

Nothing but great things to say about Precision. Joey was amazing! It was hard to get a call back much less service on a weekend, but Precision answered immediately and had Joey en route within the hour. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I had many questions. Unfortunately, due to timing and budget we went another route, but I will, without a doubt call Precision for another quote when we decide to install a new door.
