Precision makes it easy to place an appointment online. I had an issue with my garage door around 8PM and was able to make an appointment for the morning. My technician was Taylor and he let me know he was on the way. Showed up and kindly walked me thru different options to fix the door. After we decided what to do, he did the job quickly and efficiently. Taylor went thru everything he did to fix the issue and showed me everything was working well. He was very polite and a hardworker. Great Technician and very easy to work with the company with placing appointments and getting receipts.

We were very happy with the work Will did on our garage door and very glad to get same day service. Will was on time and had the door fixed in about an hour. There were several things that had to be replaced and some repair work to do. He was pleasant to work with and represents Precision Garage Door well.

I contacted Precision to help repair my garage door yesterday (10/27/25). I appreciate the tech coming out, but, unfortunately, expectations were not met as advertised by Precision, and the problem was not solved. The tech looked at the garage door but did not really attempt to fix anything, but rather made it seem like was impossible or too costly. Nice guy, though, but he didn't even check his toolbox to see if he could fix it, and he told me he didn't have the parts to fix it the same day, which is ironic since the Precision commercials made me think I chose the right company. However, he did try to upsell me on buying a new garage door and made it seem like my garage door couldn't be repaired, in addition to the repair being unreasonably expensive ($1,300) compared to the damage. It felt less like trying to fix my garage and more like replacing it with a new door, even though that wasn't necessary. Why so much for the repair? Because of this, I can't trust Precision and wouldn't recommend them to anyone needing garage door repairs. In the end, I paid $95 just for a Precision technician to come out, tell me how expensive the repair would be or to buy a new door, and make a half-hearted attempt at fixing the door. On top of that, he said there would be no warranty. This was very disappointing because I was excited to have Precision help with my garage door. I do not have a personal grudge, but just giving honest feedback/review. However, I contacted another well-known and reputable garage company the same day after the Precision tech left my house (AE Door & Window), and guess what? The technician from AE had all the equipment needed on his truck and repaired the door at a fraction of the cost estimated by the Precision tech. I also have a 60-day warranty on the repair, and this technician didn't try to upsell me on a new garage door.

I've used Precision Doors for about the last 10-12 years. At first, John doing much of the work himself. We recently had a break down in our older gargage door. My husband's car was in the driveway, but mine was essentially incarcerated. It was in the garage and the Gar. door couldn't be opened. Tyler arrived the very next day and was great! He showed me the various problems and explained which areas were most urgent to fix. We priced things out and I decided to change most of the moving parts because our door panels were still in good shape. Tyler communicated well and did the job within a very reasonable time that afternoon. My husband and I both could hear and feel the difference! We feel like we got a whole new door for half the price. Tyler also made sure that all of our programmed devices (remote opener, keypad) would be working as usual. We are both very happy with the outcome.

Precision came out and serviced my system, replacing parts and troubleshooting. After the technician left there was an issue. They sent out a technician, Will, that was able to fix the issue. He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

While the technician was polite and courteous, the estimate to repair my garage was outrageous. The retail price on the Liftmaster website was $39.95 for the gear kit while Precision charged $419 for the same kit. Total repair charge was $550. I would advise using another repair service.

Very polite, professional, and explained/suggested the necessary repairs due to the garage door spring that broke. Completed the work in an hour. Highly recommend using Precision and Jesse for garage door repairs.

I purchased my garage door in 2019. I needed a service call. I called on Sunday expecting to get voicemail, but I didn’t. I spoke with a helpful lady who gave me an appointment on Monday (07/01/24) between 10:00-12:00. Technician, Tyler Lung, called @ 10:15 saying he was on the way. He arrived around 10:30, he promptly assessed the needed repair and gave me a quote of the cost. He replaced the battery backup, lubricated the rollers/spring and tightened the mounted wall opener. He was very prompt, polite and helpful. Service completed within 30 minutes.

The service that Tyler provided was good - he arrived on time, had everything he needed to perform the repair, and from what I can tell was done well in an efficient manner. Tyler was courteous and professional and he gets 5 stars. However, overall I need to reduce the rating because pricing. I called Precision of Cincinnati to book and was told on the phone that it was a $75 service call fee in addition to the repair and that springs are $250. I mentioned a coupon on the website for a free service call with the repair and was told that was fine and to just tell the technician when he arrived. All settled, appointment booked. Apparently, the appointment was actually booked with Precision of Dayton and when the technician arrived he said that their service call fee is $130 and that they won't accept the coupon nor match the price of the Cincinnati office whom I called to book the appointment. Additionally, their cost for the springs was $384. So at the time of booking I was thinking I was in for about $500 and ended up at the time of service at over $900 for the service call plus 2 springs. Precision needs to have much more transparency into their pricing and booking practices to avoid these sorts of issues. I also don't understand how the Dayton office can be so much more expensive. For these reasons, my overall experience is 3 stars.
