I searched Google for a local garage door opener repair business. We bought a home with older garage doors/openers. Precision Overhead Door had great reviews. I called and got friendly, helpful information. I set an appointment for a Tune Up. The serviceman, Tyler Lung, arrived on time. Very friendly, willing to answer any questions and provided great advice and information for future needs. He worked quickly and explained what he was checking along the whole process. He lubed the rails, checked that everything looked to be in proper working order. We bought 2 new remotes and he installed a new keypad. Programmed everything For us. Not only does everything work great now, but we know what we want when these doors/openers finally die and need to be replaced. Will definitely recommend Precision Overhead Door to everyone. Ask for Tyler!!

The technician came out to my property because i was under the impression that the opener was broken. The technician looked at the door and realized that it was a spring that was broken. I was informed that it was another company that installed the springs previously. The was very helpful and explained what i would need to do. I appreciate the help and information and will call you for assistance in the future should the opener need to be repaired for replaced. Precision did an outstanding job of installing our garage door 7 years ago and has provided maintenance as needed with professional staff. Recently one of the two springs finally gave out. Our technician Tyler replaced both springs, balanced the tension and lubricated the rollers in about 30 minutes. He did an awesome job. With our warranty, the charge was only $75 for the service call. I love Precision

Tyler did an excellent job and in record time. He was professional and respectful of a woman who just lost her husband. The heavy wooden garage door needs replaced but current funds only support the repair of the broken spring and/or cable which would not allow the door to open. Tyler fixed the cable and provided options for a replacement, including the partial application of today’s investment toward the replacement door.

1/10 would not recommend. Called and asked for a price estimate to replace a garage door seal. Guy tells me one price ($300 worst case), so I agree to send a tech out. Tech comes out and gives me a price that is 50% greater than original price estimate ($450). I’ve got to sell my home in a hurry, so I agree to go forward even tho I feel cheated. I reach out to the owner, the owner calls me to discuss, tells me it’s my problem in the friendliest terms possible. The person I spoke to initially over the said the seal could anywhere from $5 a foot to $13 a foot. Turns out, they charged me $18.75 a foot for the seal. The person I spoke to over the phone also omitted the labor charge of $150. They did tell me about a $75 service fee, which I assumed included labor. Yeah, all my problem. Well, this review is now your problem. If you want to business with an honest transparent company, keep looking!
