I chose Precision Garage Door for a house I own in Ohio. Precision had installed my garage door opener in Charleston, SC several years ago. So, I had prior knowledge of their service and expertise. When I called Precision in Ohio, the customer service was prompt and my garage door problems were solved that same day. Taylor kept me informed on his arrival at the house, what repairs were necessary, offered me choices for the repairs and the costs associated with those choices and the warranties. He was courteous, professional and performed way beyond my expectations. I chose Precision Garage Door based on my experience with the company at my own home in Charleston, SC. We contacted Precision Door because we used them several years ago at my Mother-In-Law's house and were pleased with the work. They were able to get us on the schedule the same day with a 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm window. The technician - Will Abbott - called and gave us a projected arrival time of 4:20 pm and he arrived right on time. Having a bio and picture up front to review before Will arrived was much appreciated. He was very courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. Will did a fantastic job explaining the problem, our options and recommendations, and gave us estimates to work with. We chose our option, and the door was repaired in record time (all the necessary materials were in his van). We also appreciated how Will made sure the job was done right and did not leave until we tested the door, worked through one last glitch, and ensured the door was operating properly. Excellent job!

We had used Precision a number of years ago for repair. The price quoted over telephone was $799.00. Technician charged $886.00 and stated that the call center people didn’t know the prices. Very disappointed in the deception. . We are retired and on a fixed income and the amount she quoted was what I transferred into checking.

Service Team Member: Quentin 9:00 this morning - wife has an appointment at 1:00 and the garage door won’t open. I went out and looked - spring is broken. Set up an appointment with Precision for 1000-1200 SAME DAY. Immediate email confirmation, text follows with my service guy Quentin’s picture. 10:45 - Quentin arrives. Gives me an estimate - garage door fixed by 11:45. He even took the time to figure out my control board is bad on the opener and needs replaced - which is why my Tesla won’t connect to the opener even though it otherwise works. Amazing service response. Could not be happier. Quentin was prompt, courteous, professional. Precision and Quentin did EVERYTHING exactly how I want a service provider to do it. 5 stars - highly recommend - I’m a repeat customer, too.

Had an emergency requirement when our garage door was stuck with both cars in the garage on a Friday evening (broken spring and loose cable on old garage door). Precision Door was exceptionally responsive in taking the call that evening and getting a technician out the following morning. The technician, Cody, performed perfectly. He was very knowledgeable, capable, professional and pleasant to work with. He quickly made temporary repairs to get the door functioning, ordered a completely new door/equipment and precisely explained all options. I definitely recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone else!

Technician was on time and polite. Replacement of 2 springs was way too expensive. They were already there, so we went ahead with the repair instead of just paying the "diagnostic fee". Also, the 3% fee for using a credit card seems outdated. It seems like the credit card fees are already built into your pricing. The repair was completed professionally and works great. I will get other estimates next time before calling them.

Precision makes it easy to place an appointment online. I had an issue with my garage door around 8PM and was able to make an appointment for the morning. My technician was Taylor and he let me know he was on the way. Showed up and kindly walked me thru different options to fix the door. After we decided what to do, he did the job quickly and efficiently. Taylor went thru everything he did to fix the issue and showed me everything was working well. He was very polite and a hardworker. Great Technician and very easy to work with the company with placing appointments and getting receipts.
