Based on recommendations from Home Advisor and reviews, I chose Precision Door Service over others and I'm glad I did. On Wednesday I had them out for an estimate and by Saturday Tyler was at my house with the new garage door and opener. The installation could not have gone any better. Tyler was knowledgeable, hard working and pleasant to deal with. The door looks great, and opens and closes so smoothly and quietly when compared to my old door. Nice experience all the way around and while I hope to not replace my door again for many years to come, I would do it all over again. Well done Precision Door Service. Cheers!

My experience with Precision was impressive from my first phone call to the installation of 2 new garage doors, key pads, etc.! Your service rep was prompt, attentive to my questions, and showed up exactly when he said he would, plus called to confirm he was on his way. He had his truck stocked with everything he needed to complete the job, so he was able to finish in the length of time he estimated. I would definitely go with Precision Overhead for all my garage installation or service needs!!!

I started the day with a bang! The garage door spring broke and my car was stuck in the garage! The 16 foot insulated door was too heavy to lift! I searched garage door service company’s on my phone and the first company I tried said they could put me on the schedule for Wednesday which is 6 days out! I said thanks but that won’t work! The next call was to Precision Overhead Garage Door Service which has a five star rating! The person l talked to said they could have someone there between noon and two o’clock which I was happy to hear. They said the service technician would give me a call when they were about 20 to 25 minutes away! I received a call from service tech Kevin O’Hara and 20 minutes later he was in the driveway! He gave me an estimate to replace the broken spring but suggested replacement of both springs due to the age of the parts which I also thought was the correct thing to do. He explained the cost and warranty for that repair. He also said that he could do a complete overhaul which covered the springs, bearings, cable drums, nylon rollers, and torsion cables and that has a lifetime warranty! I went with the complete rebuild and glad I did. The door operates so much quieter. I will recommend Precision in the future for garage door work! And I will ask for Kevin O’Hara as the service tech. He had the complete rebuild finished in less than one hour! The quality of work was excellent!

Service today was professional and timely. Our service technician - Tyler - was polite and knowledgeable. Our torsion spring broke and thankfully was covered under our warranty. We have a large garage door requiring two torsion springs and Tyler replaced both since they are the same age. That's the kind of company I appreciate doing business with, integrity! Our family would definitely recommend Precision.

So far so good. Adam was very nice to our husky. He noticed right away what was wrong. Couple who flipped our house used tape to hold up the frame until it finally crapped out. Eighteen months ago I had a service technician from Precision tell me parts are hard to come by for my 30 year old opener but a temporary fix could be costly and short term. When he quoted me price for new unit and installation. I jumped at it. Thirty-two minutes later and he was backing down my drive and I was smiling. Today I needed service and the very same technician was at my garage stain! That says a lot, shows they have a happy well qualified tech. The fix was simple and he was amazed that I had this old garage door and he had not seen one in years. He explained the newer technology that stronger and better insulated for sound and temperature. When he told me the price. I was stunned and asked about windows in the door. He recommended windows with grids to match my homes windows. How much is that? I was stunned, said let's do it! I am so excited, can hardly wait for my neighbors to wonder where I am getting my money from! Hahaha! Thanks Adam!

Impossible to get an estimate or warranty information before they come out and charge a service call (overpriced). The tech did not "weigh the door" as advertised on the phone and online in order to tell what type of spring was needed. People who answered the phone were only providing minimal information and scheduling appointments. Plan seems to be to get a service call scheduled and try to sell you springs and service at double the price of most other companies. Once the tech was here, he was very efficient, after the hard sell. Overall appearance is that they are trying to take advantage of the situation but service is okay. Very over priced and will not use them again or recommend them.

Second time using Precision door. Everything is straight forward and easy. This time we had a very old opener that was slipping into manual about 50% of the time. They came out, replaced the connection arm to the motor, and we were back up and running in under an hour.

Once the appointment was made I was impressed with the quality and quantity of communication regarding my appointment time and who would be arriving to service the door. The technician called when he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, and diagnosed the problem as soon as he set foot in my garage! He explained my options well but did not pressure me to pick one over another; instead was friendly, informative and helpful. When I decided to purchase a new door he worked to accommodate my schedule. My door will be installed in a couple of days and I look forward to the same exceptional service on that date!
