Eighteen months ago I had a service technician from Precision tell me parts are hard to come by for my 30 year old opener but a temporary fix could be costly and short term. When he quoted me price for new unit and installation. I jumped at it. Thirty-two minutes later and he was backing down my drive and I was smiling. Today I needed service and the very same technician was at my garage stain! That says a lot, shows they have a happy well qualified tech. The fix was simple and he was amazed that I had this old garage door and he had not seen one in years. He explained the newer technology that stronger and better insulated for sound and temperature. When he told me the price. I was stunned and asked about windows in the door. He recommended windows with grids to match my homes windows. How much is that? I was stunned, said let's do it! I am so excited, can hardly wait for my neighbors to wonder where I am getting my money from! Hahaha! Thanks Adam!

Impossible to get an estimate or warranty information before they come out and charge a service call (overpriced). The tech did not "weigh the door" as advertised on the phone and online in order to tell what type of spring was needed. People who answered the phone were only providing minimal information and scheduling appointments. Plan seems to be to get a service call scheduled and try to sell you springs and service at double the price of most other companies. Once the tech was here, he was very efficient, after the hard sell. Overall appearance is that they are trying to take advantage of the situation but service is okay. Very over priced and will not use them again or recommend them.

Second time using Precision door. Everything is straight forward and easy. This time we had a very old opener that was slipping into manual about 50% of the time. They came out, replaced the connection arm to the motor, and we were back up and running in under an hour.

I selected Precision because they offered prompt service even in my rural location. Once the appointment was made I was impressed with the quality and quantity of communication regarding my appointment time and who would be arriving to service the door. The technician called when he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, and diagnosed the problem as soon as he set foot in my garage! He explained my options well but did not pressure me to pick one over another; instead was friendly, informative and helpful. When I decided to purchase a new door he worked to accommodate my schedule. My door will be installed in a couple of days and I look forward to the same exceptional service on that date! I completed a review on Saturday before I reviewed my invoice which provided a breakdown of what the technician stated he did. The technician stated he cheched all remotes tto make sure they were all in good working conditiion which he did not, because they were in our vehicles. He also stated he checked the keypad which he did not because he did not have the code to verify if it worked or not and he also did not check the sensors that he stated he did. I am very disappointed in this company.

I found the website very easy to use. And I liked the selection and options that were available. Despite not expecting to spend as much as we did, we are very happy with our new Liftmaster system. I called because our springs broke and cables came down on our 25-year old Overhead Legacy unit (which still worked fine). But it made sense to upgrade to new technology. Kevin did a great job explaining our options of repair only, or the capabilities of the Liftmaster 8355W. We decided to do the whole deal, and left Kevin to sweat profusely in the extreme humidity.
