Called and explained that my Genie keypad, that they installed, never worked right and needed to be looked at, they sent over someone that day. Isaiah- He was a pleasure to work with, very polite, a good listener and came to conclusion my keypad was defected and replaced it right then. He took time with me to explained how to maintain a proper garage door system. Who does that these days? I Highly Recommend Precision and will tell All my family and friends. I’m so happy with the quick response to my request for service. The Technician, Javen, was so knowledgeable, polite and honest. He solved the mystery problem that the Push Button on the Wall Mount Opener was broken unfortunately they do not carry the unit I needed but he told me what I needed to purchase and he could return and install. Since Jalen couldn’t provide what I needed he left me being able to open the garage door using only my remote control. He did not charge me anything for the service call because he only diagnosed the problem. I was so overwhelmed with his honesty that I cried. Please call this company when you need assistance. You can trust them to provide Honesty & Excellent Service! A Big Thank You Jalen! I will always contact this company whenever I need my garage door repaired.

Quick to respond, but did nothing to solve my problem and tried to sell me a new garage door opener when all I needed was $5 worth of bolts. Technician walked into my garage looked at the unit and declared that I probably needed a new motor, which made no sense. After allowing the technician time to evaluate the situation he called me back to the garage and confirmed that I needed a new motor and started to try and sell me. I questioned why he wasn't repairing the bracket or chain (which looked to be the problem). He fed me a line that the system was old and that my type of rails were out of production and could not be replaced. I took a closer look and found a sheared bold under the unit and then compared the "broken" unit to the one on the other door. I advised the technician I was not ready to buy a new unit and paid the service fee. I went to Ace Hardware, picked up some new bolts to see if they resolved the problem, which they did. Do not recommend.

Called Precision to perform periodic lube on garage door and components. The technician, Alex, arrived on time and was professional, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. He answered all questions I had and provided quotes for the various garage door issues I wanted fixed/replaced. All the issues I wanted done today, he did. I'm saving a few for later. All my expectations for this service call were met and exceeded. Thanks for the excellent work and the manner in which it was completed !

Alex is fantastic. Quickly assessed and identified the correct problem. Alex recommended not only what I had to have versus what we needed for longevity. In comparison of part prices I found. Precision to be roughly on par with retail cost of similar items. While not the cheapest, the value is there when combined with the 8 year warranty. With this information I opted for the complete package to bring my door to like new condition. Alex was efficient in his work and provided superior customer experience. Well done young man. They have done work for us before, however, I’ll be honest I didn’t remember who we had out. This time we had a different service provided. They put a new spring on the first time and this time they put new cables in and re-rewind the spring. Excellent service! Called after 9PM when one of my garage door springs failed - an actual person (!) promptly answered the phone and had me scheduled for a service call within minutes. The technician (Cody S.) arrived promptly the following morning and got right to work. Cody inspected everything, gave solid repair recommendations, and offered multiple options at different price points with no pressure. After giving Cody the go-ahead, he dug in and finished everything in a little over an hour since he already had everything he needed on the truck. The door works better than before and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the parts and service!

I was able to set a Monday morning appointment on Sunday night. Received a call on Monday AM at 7:30 telling me the tech would be at my home in 30 minutes. That is great service. I contacted Precision to help repair my garage door yesterday (10/27/25). I appreciate the tech coming out, but, unfortunately, expectations were not met as advertised by Precision, and the problem was not solved. The tech looked at the garage door but did not really attempt to fix anything, but rather made it seem like was impossible or too costly. Nice guy, though, but he didn't even check his toolbox to see if he could fix it, and he told me he didn't have the parts to fix it the same day, which is ironic since the Precision commercials made me think I chose the right company. However, he did try to upsell me on buying a new garage door and made it seem like my garage door couldn't be repaired, in addition to the repair being unreasonably expensive ($1,300) compared to the damage. It felt less like trying to fix my garage and more like replacing it with a new door, even though that wasn't necessary. Why so much for the repair? Because of this, I can't trust Precision and wouldn't recommend them to anyone needing garage door repairs. In the end, I paid $95 just for a Precision technician to come out, tell me how expensive the repair would be or to buy a new door, and make a half-hearted attempt at fixing the door. On top of that, he said there would be no warranty. This was very disappointing because I was excited to have Precision help with my garage door. I do not have a personal grudge, but just giving honest feedback/review. However, I contacted another well-known and reputable garage company the same day after the Precision tech left my house (AE Door & Window), and guess what? The technician from AE had all the equipment needed on his truck and repaired the door at a fraction of the cost estimated by the Precision tech. I also have a 60-day warranty on the repair, and this technician didn't try to upsell me on a new garage door.

I did my research on garage for companies before scheduling Precision Garage Doors. I was not disappointed, and this company exceeded my expectations! I called for an appointment and they were able to come immediately. Joey Albers was my technician. He was very good, knew the industry very well, knew their products, and provided multiple solutions. There was no pressure to purchase anything, because their prices were so reasonable, I purchased that day. Even more surprising was when Joey sits he could install the new opener and components that day. He was done in 40 minutes and it's perfect. Christmas came early for me!
