We had a large spring break on our double garage door, and Precision Door was out to repair the spring the next day. It was so nice to work with a company that arrived as promised and just did exceptional work. The technician we worked with was Ty, and he was courteous and did a great job of explaining the repairs that we needed. Within about an hour, our garage door was working again, and I must admit, it worked SIGNIFICANTLY better than it did before... it is now smoother and quieter, and the repair came with a 10 year warranty. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Precision Door again and again.

The service that Tyler provided was good - he arrived on time, had everything he needed to perform the repair, and from what I can tell was done well in an efficient manner. Tyler was courteous and professional and he gets 5 stars. However, overall I need to reduce the rating because pricing. I called Precision of Cincinnati to book and was told on the phone that it was a $75 service call fee in addition to the repair and that springs are $250. I mentioned a coupon on the website for a free service call with the repair and was told that was fine and to just tell the technician when he arrived. All settled, appointment booked. Apparently, the appointment was actually booked with Precision of Dayton and when the technician arrived he said that their service call fee is $130 and that they won't accept the coupon nor match the price of the Cincinnati office whom I called to book the appointment. Additionally, their cost for the springs was $384. So at the time of booking I was thinking I was in for about $500 and ended up at the time of service at over $900 for the service call plus 2 springs. Precision needs to have much more transparency into their pricing and booking practices to avoid these sorts of issues. I also don't understand how the Dayton office can be so much more expensive. For these reasons, my overall experience is 3 stars.

Kevin was outstanding. He figured out the problem instantly and had it fixed in no time. Then, he identified a problem that I had paid to have fixed and the other company did not fix it. No need to schedule another appointment -- Kevin fixed the problem while he was here. He explained everything to me, exactly what it would cost, and then kept to the estimate -- even showing me exactly what he did when he was done. Will definitely recommend Precision Garage Doors to anyone needing repairs.

Jared Rager was my service tech. He was prompt, professional, proficient and proactive. He recognized the issue almost immediately and laid out a few options for me. My Garage door spring failed during a late Saturday evening with a loud bang, with both personal vehicles now trapped in the closed garage. My online search efforts located your online website with the popup chat and I took the chance considering the late hour to enter my issue and was impressed by an immediate response from Rachel. I was informed the 1st available appointment would be Monday 8 - 10 AM and provided an estimated cost for the torsion spring replacement to include the service call fee. The appointment was confirmed via email and text messages. Early Monday morning I received a phone call from Brian Payne, the Service Technician, to inform me he was on his way for the appointment. Brian arrived shortly after 8 AM, was very courteous and professional. He quickly assessed the issue and proposed minimal repair options vs costly long term door replacement considerations. Based on his assessment I opted for the minimal repair, removal and replacement of the broken spring. Brian's quick installation of the new spring to include inspection of parts and door alignment demonstrated his keen attention to detail and experience. At my request, Brian provided me with a future garage door replacement cost estimate. I plan to keep Precision Door Service in my contacts.

I called Precision Door when I discovered my garage door would not open and saw their 5 star rating. An appointment was scheduled for the very next day. I received a text message with an introduction to my tech when he was enroute. Brian even called to see if it was ok if he arrived earlier than the scheduled time. After inspecting the door, he provided me with several options and quickly had my door up and running!
