Based on recommendations from Home Advisor and reviews, I chose Precision Door Service over others and I'm glad I did. On Wednesday I had them out for an estimate and by Saturday Tyler was at my house with the new garage door and opener. The installation could not have gone any better. Tyler was knowledgeable, hard working and pleasant to deal with. The door looks great, and opens and closes so smoothly and quietly when compared to my old door. So far so good. Adam was very nice to our husky. He noticed right away what was wrong. Couple who flipped our house used tape to hold up the frame until it finally crapped out. Eighteen months ago I had a service technician from Precision tell me parts are hard to come by for my 30 year old opener but a temporary fix could be costly and short term. When he quoted me price for new unit and installation. I jumped at it. Thirty-two minutes later and he was backing down my drive and I was smiling. Today I needed service and the very same technician was at my garage stain! That says a lot, shows they have a happy well qualified tech. The fix was simple and he was amazed that I had this old garage door and he had not seen one in years. He explained the newer technology that stronger and better insulated for sound and temperature. When he told me the price. I was stunned and asked about windows in the door. He recommended windows with grids to match my homes windows. How much is that? I was stunned, said let's do it! I am so excited, can hardly wait for my neighbors to wonder where I am getting my money from! Hahaha! Thanks Adam!

Impossible to get an estimate or warranty information before they come out and charge a service call (overpriced). The tech did not "weigh the door" as advertised on the phone and online in order to tell what type of spring was needed. People who answered the phone were only providing minimal information and scheduling appointments. Plan seems to be to get a service call scheduled and try to sell you springs and service at double the price of most other companies. Once the tech was here, he was very efficient, after the hard sell. Overall appearance is that they are trying to take advantage of the situation but service is okay. Very over priced and will not use them again or recommend them.

I contacted Precision Tuesday afternoon regarding my broken garage door opener. A technician (Adam) was immediately scheduled to come out the very next day between 2-4. At 12:30 both Adam and Heather called to see if it was OK for Adam to come out at 1:00. Adam came out, discussed the problem with me, explained his game plan and proceeded to remove the existing track and motor and replaced it with a new one which is extremely quiet which is key as our Master Bedroom is directly above the garage. Adam was very professional and efficient. Thanks Adam!
