We cannot say enough positive things about this company and the service technician who did the work on our garage doors. The one door had the coil & cables snap upon opening one evening, so we were completely unable to get the car out of the garage. We searched for best local garage door repair companies after the original installer did not provide a 24/7 service operation. Precision Door came up as highly rated and someone answered our call even though it was after regular work hours. Will was here at exactly 8:00 the next morning. He examined the broken coil, cables, and other aging hardware. His explanation of the issues was clear and he had necessary replacement parts on the truck. He was professional, respectful, frinedly, and worked efficiently to have the repair done within two hours. He showed us any damage to the existing hardware and did not try to sell us anything we did not need, assuring us that the motor unit running the door opener was well-made and in excellent condition. He took away all the scrap metal and made sure to leave the work area clean ... even wiping his fingerprints off the white door. He worked carefully around the car stuck in the garage. And, the price was very reasonable; we felt we were getting excellent repair for the cost. We highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service and will now use them exclusively for any necessary servicing.

Alex did a great job finishing up a replacement opener install I could not finish. Apparently a lot of my internal wall wiring was not OK, so Alex ran all new wiring. Fair Price. Quick Turnaround. Same day service. All good. Highly Recommended

Sub-standard workmanship. Mounting lag screws shot at 30 degree angle, only threads on one side of the screw touch wood. I am embarrassed to pay for the installation of an opener by this company.

While the technician was polite and courteous, the estimate to repair my garage was outrageous. The retail price on the Liftmaster website was $39.95 for the gear kit while Precision charged $419 for the same kit. Total repair charge was $550. I would advise using another repair service.

I called Precision late Thursday afternoon and spoke to a very friendly and efficient young lady who scheduled an appointment for noon - 4 o’clock on Friday. Joey showed up promptly at noon with a boatload of knowledge, all the parts he needed, and a big smile. He offered to replace only the springs, but showed us where when the previous homeowner replaced the garage door with a high quality door, the installer used substandard rollers, cables, etc. I’m glad he did. Since this will likely be our last home, we asked him to replace them all. Joey is an absolute asset to the company and a delight to deal with. I cannot recommend him or Precision Garage Door Service more highly.

Alex came in clutch for us on Christmas Eve! Called ahead to let me know he was 15 minutes out, text came through with his picture and bio, showed up on time, communicated spring replacement options thoroughly, and then knocked the job out in 20 minutes. Joey Albers was the tech assigned to my service call. Broken spring and frayed cables, rollers etc. It was an unexpected incident. My call was taken quickly and promptly assigned to a tech. The expected time was between 2 and 4 on a Friday afternoon. Joey called at 2 pm and arrived at 2:30. He got to right to work. He explained everything and I agreed to fix everything he suggested. I’m sure I could have had it done for less expense but he was here and I wasn’t in the mood to shop around for a better deal. Joey was great he offered a less expensive option and I was given a discount with an 8 year warranty. The work was completed in about an hour and I was able to get on with my day.

A neighbor recommended Precision Door to me about 10 years ago. It turned out to be a great recommendation. In turn, I have recommended Precision Door to multiple other neighbors. Precision Associates are very professional. When I tell neighbors that, "Once you have a Precision Garage Door installed, a technician will come out from the company and do reoutine lubrication and adjustments as long s you have the door,"---the neighbors are impressed. They usually say, "My garage door installers don't do that for us."

I appreciate the quick service and repair although it was more costly than anticipated. The tech Alex Henderson arrived within an hour after I called. The company who installed the door couldn’t repair until Tuesday. We couldn’t have waited that long as Alex pointed out that not only had the spring broken but the cables to balance the door had snapped, the bar connecting the door to the opener was bent and a support bracket had been bent and pulled out of the wall. The double door had been installed with only 1 spring rather than the normal 2 springs to carry the load. No wonder it snapped! We are happy with the quick response and repair. If you use this company be prepared to pay with a check or cash. They discourage use of a credit card because of the 3% vendors fee.
