A few years ago Precision Garage Doors had come and to repair a broken spring. We were very impressed with the quality of the materials and service so yesterday when the chain broke on our 30 year old opener we called Precision. They were able to come in this morning and replace the whole system with a new one that fit our needs and our budget. Will Abbott, our technician, assessed the problem quickly, explained our options and once we picked the model we wanted, he promptly installed everything and replaced the old rollers and hinges. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and explained what he had done and how to pair the remote openers in the cars. Will also walked us through the application for a 6 month payment plan. He took care of everything! We really appreciate the excellent work he provided today. K & J deGruchy

After a utility pole fire and power surge throughout our home, many of our electronics were fried including our garage door opener. I was having trouble getting anyone to return my calls. We called precision door service at 5:00AM on a Friday morning and were treated kindly . They listened to our garage door problem and scheduled us for a 10AM to 2 PM service call . Both torsion springs had broken on our garage door and it was too heavy to lift . So , we had both our vehicles in the garage and wasn't able to get the vehicles out of the garage . we received a call from Alex the precision door service technician at 11:00AM and they were on their way to our address . Both technicians arrived ,Alex , & Joey . They were friendly + professional and knowledgeable . They finished the job quickly and professionally . The Garage Door works like new ...smile + the work looked professional and the new torsion springs were stronger which helps the life of the old motor on the garage door opener . Technician Isaish Gibbs arrived on time (est. arrival was from 4-8pm) at exactly 4:00 and replaced one garage door opener as requested. No hard sales pitch, since I had a brand-new garage door replaced earlier this spring. Mr. Gibbs was friendly and explained all issues clearly. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day I contacted Precision Door Service but opted for the next day. The technician, Josh, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have not scheduled an installation yet, so can’t comment on that at this time. However, we were impressed with Josh, and he arrived as scheduled.

Isaiah did a great job. I'm moving into a new house and the garage door was very loud/squeaky when opening and closing, so I called to have a general tune up done to make sure there weren't any major issues that needed to be addressed. Even though the door just needed a little grease on the hinges/wheels, Isaiah took the time to do an inspection and made sure I knew what product to purchase if I had the problem again in the future and gave me tips about how and where to apply to the door. I was very appreciative for his expertise and that he took the time to thoroughly explain things even though it was a very simple problem.

We had a broken garage door spring. The technician, Cody, called when he was on his way and arrived on time. This is someone who really knows what he is doing and is happy to answer questions. He did a thorough inspection and offered several options for this repair. Each option was explained clearly and I was able to understand the rationale for the different options. After getting my approval, Cody worked quickly and efficiently to make the repair. Most impressive was his care to assure the springs were the right ones AND that the tension was properly balanced. After seeing how he checked and re-checked, I am convinced the original installer did not have the door properly balanced (it had always been harder to open with the automatic opener disconnected than it is now.) I am a happy camper. Thank you.

I called today and told the lady I would like a keypad installed for my guardian garage door. She said she could send someone out today which was nice. It was supposed to be a surprise for my spouse. Will showed up and was very friendly unfortunately he had to call someone to find out they don’t have remotes for guardian and that the universal remote they have doesn’t work for it. I don’t blame Will he drove all the way out here. But I wasn’t thrilled I still had to pay 95.00 for a service fee. When I did tell the lady we had guardian. I would never known that since it was replaced by a company 3-4 years ago that a key pad couldn’t be installed from a company I chose based off reviews. I also wouldn’t have known you couldn’t have gotten a key pad. It was something my husband could do but I wanted to do it for a surprise and hope to have 30 day warranty. I did express my concern to Will and ask him to let his manager know. One it wasted his time and it wasted mine. Again Will was nice but I don’t feel like I should have been charged at least not the whole amount. If Guardian is so rare the call center needs to screen better.

Isaiah was great to work with. He knew what the issue was straightaway and talked me through it in a helpful way. My kids were home and he was super nice to them as well. He was finished super quickly and his work looks and functions great. After this experience, I will be sure to call again if any other issues pop up.
