Had a broken cable on one side. Allen showed up at the beginning of the 2 hour window and assessed the problem. In which case he installed a lot heavier cable and drum to insure no future problems. I am very pleased with the fact that he didn't try to make it seem worse and try to sell me stuff I didn't need. He explained everything in detail during installation, and performed a great service. Which in this day and age is not very common. I would definitely recommend Precision based on my experience with them to everyone. Glad I found their internet add, and if I ever have another problem, I will call these guys hands down.

I had issues with my garage door not opening, it would just beep at me. I call on Friday night and had someone out at 10am Saturday morning. The first guy came out and I decided that I wanted a new opener he arranged for another guy to come out to install it. I had plans for the afternoon and was gone when he arrived. The guy called me after 12 pm and said he would be there in 10 minutes. I explained to him that my sons (over the age of 18) were there and he confirmed what he was doing. I asked him if he could program the keypad for me and he said he would (I'm not the greatest with technology). He called me a short time later and said he was done. But what surprised me the most was that he helped one of my kids carry something to the barn as it was heavy.

Four years ago, I called Precision Door, for a small job of turning the spring on our garage door. The technician showed up on time, on a weekend and after hours, was very knowledgeable, well groomed and the job was done right the first time and was very reasonably priced. So, now (four years later) it was time to replace the (25+ yr) wood garage door. So, I called Precision Door again. The technician Kevin, came out with in two hours of my call and went over our options. We agreed on a new steel door, springs, hardware, ect...ect...at a reasonable price. Kevin showed up on time, well groomed, self starter, and was finished on time with NO HIDDEN FEES! It is refreshing to do business with a company that does what they say, and is not out to squeeze every last dime out the job. And backs the work up with a good warranty.

Sunday afternoon I spoke to John Hidy of Precision Door asking for a repair estimate on a "garage door cable off". To my surprise John said he could come out in 45 minutes. He was on time, if not early. When I asked if the 149.00 estimate was still as quoted, he responded that it would be 49.00 less since the job was actually easier once he was able to see it. He easily balanced the door and reset and tightened the cable. John was very professional and easy to talk to. He worked efficiently while I gabbed his ear off. I highly recommend John and especially to women who are fearful of unnecessary costly repairs.
